The Staffing People.
A recruitment platform designed around the way the business actually works — combining bold web design with custom candidate signup, scheduling integration, references, built-in forms and connected operational tools.
More than a website.
The Staffing People needed a digital platform that could do more than explain what the company does. Employers needed a clear route to book staff, while candidates needed an equally simple way to register, provide information and move through onboarding.
Slump designed the public-facing experience and built the systems behind it — bringing signup, scheduling, references, enquiries and recruitment workflows into one cohesive platform.
Take a complicated recruitment process and make every next step feel obvious.
Recruitment naturally involves a lot of moving parts: enquiries, applications, availability, references, role information, scheduling and ongoing communication. The challenge was making that complexity invisible to the person using the website.
The site therefore had to work for two different audiences at once — companies looking for staff and people looking for work — while giving The Staffing People’s internal team systems they could actually use.
Built on our Custom plan. Because a normal website wasn't enough.
Designed up front. Working behind it.
Candidate signup
A dedicated candidate signup experience collects the information needed to begin onboarding while keeping the entire journey visually connected to The Staffing People website.
Scheduling connection
The website connects into the scheduling software used by the business, allowing the customer-facing site to work alongside the system used internally to organise staff and shifts.
Reference system
A custom reference workflow helps The Staffing People collect candidate references as part of the wider onboarding process without breaking the experience into unrelated third-party pages.
Built-in forms
Enquiries, applications and key actions are handled through integrated forms designed around the site, rather than forcing visitors into generic, disconnected form experiences.
Find staff
Businesses get a dedicated route focused on sectors, services and booking staff, keeping the journey from landing on the website to making an enquiry clear and direct.
Find work
Candidates see the roles, pay information, signup process and information relevant to them without navigating pages primarily written for employers.
The technology only matters if the experience still feels simple.
Separate journeys
Employer and candidate content is clearly separated, so visitors immediately understand where they need to go.
Clear actions
Booking staff, finding work, registering and making an enquiry are treated as primary actions instead of being buried inside generic navigation.
Operational confidence
Dashboard-style sections and live operational information help demonstrate the capability behind the business rather than relying only on marketing claims.
One system
Signup pages, forms, references and functional tools are designed to feel like one connected platform, rather than multiple systems stitched together.
A sharper identity for The Staffing People.
The project wasn't only about improving the website. Slump developed the digital brand direction alongside it, creating a more distinctive visual language that could carry across recruitment, candidate communications and the wider business.
The aim was to move away from the predictable corporate look of traditional recruitment brands and give The Staffing People something more energetic, modern and recognisable without sacrificing clarity.
Poppins. Clear. Human.
Poppins gives The Staffing People a clean, contemporary voice while remaining approachable across everything from large campaign statements to practical recruitment information.
TSP brand systemPink. Black. White.
A distinctive pink accent became the recognisable centre of The Staffing People identity, supported by black and clean neutral surfaces for contrast, consistency and usability.
Distinctive by designBold. Flexible. Recognisable.
Structured cards, dashboard-inspired layouts, selective glass effects and strong spacing created a visual system that could flex across both marketing and operational content.
Built to scaleA website that goes beyond the brief.
The finished platform gives The Staffing People a stronger digital home while making the practical side of recruitment easier to navigate for businesses, candidates and the internal team.
The Custom plan allowed the project to move beyond a standard website — combining brand development and front-end design with candidate signup, scheduling-software integration, references, built-in forms, API connections and custom functionality.
